Fresh Relevance eCommerce personalization platform 2018 highlights

It’s been another extraordinary year at Fresh Relevance. 2018 has raised our profile as a leading personalization provider, brought us further international expansion, and seen even more happy customers using our platform.

Here, we look back over our biggest highlights of the year:

500 websites using our personalization platform

In September, we announced that in just five years, we had reached a landmark 500 websites using our platform. Retailers benefiting from the Fresh Relevance solution include high-profile brands such as Rip Curl, Harvey Nichols, Arlo & Jacob, MyOptique Group, Wex Photo Video, Mothercare, TimeOut and Laura.ca.

To accommodate this major growth, we doubled our headcount at new expanded offices in Southampton and London (UK) as well as Boston (MA). We also expanded our European presence by partnering with leading marketing platform Contactlab in Italy, and launching in The Netherlands.

Retail sector recognition

This year saw our ecommerce personalization platform recognized by the best in the business, including several nominations for top retail awards.

Leading cart recovery provider in the UK

In May, a sector analysis by BuiltWith revealed that Fresh Relevance is leading the way in cart abandonment in the UK, with one in five eCommerce sites measured using the platform.

Thanks to our automatic cross-channel cart rebuild, retailers see an average 6.7% uplift on revenue per visitor when they deploy our cart recovery solution.

Finalist for three retail awards

This year, we were nominated for not one, but two Retail Systems Awards: “Multi-Channel Technology Vendor of the Year” and “Multi-Channel Solution of the Year.” 2018 also saw Fresh Relevance shortlisted as Retail Week “Tech Supplier of the Year.”

The nominations were a recognition of how the Fresh Relevance platform helps marketers boost customer loyalty with real-time, data-driven personalization.

Fresh Relevance in the field

We’re here to make your job easier, so there’s nothing we love more than getting out and sharing the latest insights with savvy marketers from across retail, eCommerce and travel.

Fresh Ideas Live

In June and September, we were joined by like-minded marketers at our Fresh Ideas Live events. Attendees gathered at The Shard, London, to discuss the latest innovations in joined-up email and web personalization.

After action-oriented talks from Fresh Relevance and other industry experts, such as Enchant Agency and ContentSquare, guests took the opportunity to network with fellow marketers over beer and prosecco.

Trade shows and exhibitions

In 2018, we attended 11 of the biggest retail trade shows across two continents - from London, Birmingham and Milan in Europe, to Atlanta, Palm Springs, Chicago, New York and Las Vegas in the U.S. Our dedicated team of consultants was on hand to meet attendees and talk through the latest developments in eCommerce personalization.

Fresh Relevance Loyalty Forecast 2018

Fostering customer loyalty is an important factor for lasting retail success and a topic close to our customers’ hearts. With this in mind, we conducted consumer research in collaboration with YouGov to identify the factors that can effectively attract and maintain repeat customers. Our findings - the four pillars of customer loyalty - were widely covered in the retail and marketing press and even twice by Forbes.

What’s in store for 2019?

2018 was an excellent year at Fresh Relevance, with plenty of milestones that we’ll remember for years to come. We’re sure that 2019 will be even better, with more collaboration, more events and, most importantly, more happy marketers!
