Stand 510; 1st and 2nd October 2014, Olympia, London
SOUTHAMPTON, UK - Fresh Relevance, the real-time marketing hub, today announced that it will launch a range of new features to its software-based solution at eCommerce Expo in London next month. Visitors to stand 510 will learn how real-time relevant content can now be pushed to consumers via email at the point of opening. It will also showcase innovative new real-time content features (Smart Blocks) that include Countdown Timers, Web Crop (website content for use in email marketing) and Twitter Integration, to improve email relevance, its appearance and impact with the consumer.
CEO of Fresh Relevance, Mike Austin comments: “The new functionality we are unveiling will give eCommerce professionals fresh relevance in how they engage with their customers via email and their website. The problem with email has always been that you are at the mercy of when the customer chooses to open it and the longer the delay the less relevant the message becomes. We are able to ensure that the content that is displayed to the recipient is always fresh, personalised to their needs and wants, as well as meeting the campaign objectives of the organisation.”
Fresh Relevance can personalise cart and browse abandonment emails and campaign emails sent using all major ESPs. Only at the point at which the recipient clicks to open the message is it populated with relevant personalised information such as the products they have most recently been looking on the website, categories they were searching through, recommendations based on their purchasing history and what products are trending at that moment.
Through the introduction of Smart Blocks, Fresh Relevance is creating a new way to formulate email. Austin adds: “We have introduced an innovative Countdown Timer that can be quickly and easily embedded with the email, to create anticipation and a sense of urgency around a sale event, product launch, or time limited promotion. It is a simple yet clever device that has a very powerful effect on the customer.”
Other new Smart Blocks include Twitter Feeds, Web Crop (presents a specific section of a website within an email), Product Recommendations (based on personal and crowd-sourced data) and Generic Blocks for custom content. If marketing requirements change it is now possible to repurpose content even after an email has been sent, by simply editing or replacing a Smart Block. Austin concludes. “We have transformed email into a precision-guided medium.”
eCommerce Expo takes place on 1st and 2nd October at Olympia in London. For more information about the event and to register visit: www.ecommerceexpo.co.uk

About Fresh Relevance
Fresh Relevance was founded in 2011. Organisations use its system to recover up to 20% of abandoned carts with real-time messaging and drive additional revenue from marketing emails and web sites. The company has developed a highly evolved technology that responds directly to the behavioural triggers of online customers. It is incredibly simple to set up and use with no installation - and it integrates instantly with any web store (supported carts).
Real-time data is collected as the customer shops and then used to issue targeted messages that reduce cart abandonment, boost sales and encourage repeat custom. This data, profiling in detail customer preferences and purchasing habits, can also be used to dramatically enhance the performance of any existing marketing platforms by enabling micro-segmentation and personalisation of all email campaigns.
Fresh Relevance has been designed to effectively boost sales revenues for any sized business and can be tailored accordingly. The company is a pioneer in creating advanced technology that is both affordable and practical for smaller businesses as well as larger ones. Fresh Relevance complements Google Analytics, eliminating the need for using expensive, bulky solutions. It can also be integrated with large ESPs (supported ESPs), hence our growing popularity with partners such as Exact Target.
