Fresh Relevance named Tech SME of the Year 2023

Fresh Relevance has been named Tech SME of the Year at the prestigious South Coast Tech Awards 2023.

The Tech SME of the Year was presented to Fresh Relevance in a category acknowledging the SMEs that are forging new paths and, through new concepts and/or products, are standing out from the crowd. The award was one of 13 given to companies based on the UK south coast, during a ceremony at the Hilton at the Ageas Bowl.

Mike Austin, SVP Personalization at Dotdigital, was presented with the award and comments on the benefits of close collaboration between technology innovators on the south coast:

“It has been an important year for us, particularly our collaboration with the University of Portsmouth where we have undertaken a major AI project with them. This has been instrumental in creating some of the AI technology we use in our products that help our clients make more money from their websites.”

Fresh Relevance was launched in 2013 and has been based at the Southampton Science Park for 10 years, growing from five staff to a team of 70, serving 350 clients and with larger premises in Southampton, as well as offices in London and the U.S. Last month, the company was acquired by Dotdigital and together they will take the Fresh Relevance personalization platform to the rest of the world.
