This week, we’re shining the spotlight on Account Manager, Simon Nooranvary.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
I really enjoy meeting clients and learning about them and their businesses. I work with such a wide variety of organizations that no two are ever the same. Each has their own unique requirements and challenges that I love working with them to fulfil or overcome.
What does a typical day look like for you?
My main focus and responsibility is our clients. You’ll often find me in a meeting, discussing their challenges and successes or presenting ideas on how they can maximize their marketing using our technology. I always think about innovative ways in which I can help clients grow using the products and services we have to offer.
Fresh Relevance is also a huge advocate for growth. They really allow you to take time to expand your knowledge and enhance your abilities using various resources such as live events, webinars, and digital marketing content. Digital Marketing is not only my job but my passion as well, so I love learning about the latest strategies in the industry.
What interesting projects are you working on right now?
I’ve recently switched from a customer success role into an account management role at Fresh Relevance. At this moment in time, I am mainly focusing on account planning as I transition into my new role. It is really important to be aligned with my clients so that we are working towards the same goals. By seeing myself as an extension of their teams I am able to do this.
What would your top tip be for anyone getting started with personalization?
I would personally say it’s always great to have a clear objective. I think it should be the foundation of achieving success in digital marketing or really any field.
Once you have a clear objective or goal that you’re trying to achieve (such as increase your sales revenue), you can plan ahead for that goal, implement your plan, then review the success of it.
When you're not busy helping clients, what do you get up to in your free time?
My two main passions in life outside of work are bodybuilding and poker. I’ve been into fitness training and bodybuilding for over 10 years now having previously managed a gym and worked as a personal trainer as well.
I’m a huge advocate due to the benefits and positive impact it can have on your day-to-day life. Arnold Schwarzenegger is a hero of mine!
I also play poker competitively. I’m in love with the game and counting down the days until we’re able to fly to Vegas so that I can compete in a grand final out there having won a national league to qualify for it.
