This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our Head of Account Management & Customer Success, Dominic Delegate.
What do you enjoy most about your role?
Without a doubt the people I work with. I have seen the Account Management and Customer Success teams grow both in terms of size and personal development and it’s really great to see how we’ve established ourselves over the last 18 months to become the high performing teams we are today.
What does a typical day look like for you?
I work through a mixture of internal and customer facing meetings. No two days are alike and that’s really exciting. I always have an eye on the team performance reports and another constant would be checking in with different parts of my team day to day (much to their annoyance probably!).
What interesting projects are you working on right now?
So many! We have launched 3 modules in the last quarter and it can be quite challenging keeping on top of all the new developments. Ensuring we have great product enablement is key for my team to relay all the fantastic work we have been doing back to our customers and drive that product adoption.
What would your top tip be for anyone getting started with personalization?
Test, Test and Test some more! Fresh Relevance has a very wide range of choices when it comes to personalization and it would be easy to set a few of these journeys up and forget about them. But our highest performing customers are always testing and optimizing, from simple checks such as a color of a CTA or send times, all the way through to testing different AI data sources with product recommendations. So don’t be afraid to take advantage of the testing Fresh has to offer.
When you’re not busy helping clients, what do you get up to in your free time?
I love sports and will try my hand at anything from Aussie rules football to bicycle polo and everything in between! When I’m not keeping active I have 2 boys at home who keep me more active than any of the sports I play.
