Partner spotlight

Fresh Relevance seamlessly integrates with over 60 industry-leading platforms to help our clients create campaigns that delight their customers and boost conversions.

Each month, we’ll be spotlighting one of our partnerships to get you acquainted with our integration capabilities.

Read on to learn more about how we work with online ratings and reviews platform Trustpilot.

Why Trustpilot & Fresh Relevance

Trustpilot helps companies boost customer confidence and increase conversions with the power of customer advocacy, as well as making it easy for customers to leave reviews.

Fresh Relevance integrates with Trustpilot to automatically pull ratings and reviews into marketing content. Our joint clients can guide website visitors towards a purchase and drive email click-throughs with user-generated content.

What Trustpilot say

Read our short interview with Catrin Addison, Global Tech Partner Manager to learn more about Trustpilot, hear her thoughts on the integration and get her insights into key eCommerce trends to look out for this year.

Please introduce yourself and Trustpilot

I’m Catrin, a Global Tech Partner Manager covering the UK and ANZ regions! I get to work with all of our lovely technology partners, alongside the rest of the team who manage our network of agencies.

Trustpilot is an open-to-all review platform where consumers are heard by businesses, and where businesses can earn consumer trust. We make it easy for every business to collect and respond to reviews, and turn their brand trust into more traffic, sales, and revenue. With over 530,000 businesses reviewed and 1.1 trillion ratings and reviews displayed in Google annually, companies use Trustpilot to establish credibility and improve their reputation.

Can you tell us about one of your biggest client success stories?

Furniture Choice offers stylish, quality furniture that everyone can afford. Founded in 2005, FurnitureChoice.co.uk is an independent furniture retailer. The company combines a deep knowledge of contemporary furniture manufacturing with first-class eCommerce expertise. They started using Trustpilot because they knew they had less brand recognition than many of the major players: “Despite being a big revenue driving business, Furniture Choice is not as well known as others in the market such as DFS, SCS and Oak Furnitureland. As a result, it’s important to use social proof to boost customer confidence and reduce scepticism as much as possible. Nothing does that more than other customers’ validation.” They display their high rating across all channels. On site, they’ve found that well-placed TrustBox widgets increase conversion by 22%. Why did you choose to partner with Fresh Relevance?

Showcasing Trustpilot reviews throughout the user journey can improve sales and marketing performance. Fresh Relevance is a leader in optimizing customer communications, and our integration makes it easy for businesses to feature reviews at the right points in the journey on the right channels.

Fresh Relevance is a fun and dynamic business to work with – we can try out new ideas and assist each other when it comes to current and new business, but without any rigidity.

What’s a key trend eCommerce leaders should be looking out for in 2021?

The shift to digital buying, expedited over the last year, means consumers will continue to realize they have more options and can do the research to find what’s best for them.

If we’ve learned anything from the last year, it’s that things will change in unexpected ways. Will the shift to digital be permanent or will we see the pendulum swing back to brick-and-mortar shopping? What’s important is that businesses can be adaptable and open to meeting customers where they are.

Wherever buying occurs, consumers will be checking reviews first to learn from their fellow consumers. Businesses who work to resolve issues, gather more feedback, and showcase their happiest customers, will be more likely to win over the competition.

If at the heart of your interactions, you place a prioritization on truly offering a good experience, that will come through in your conversations.

The tools to succeed

Here are some of the tools brands have access to with Trustpilot and Fresh Relevance.

Cross-channel social proof

Dynamic content SmartBlocks allow brands to display ratings and reviews from their customers (including photos that customers have uploaded within their reviews) in bulk and triggered emails, and on the website. Granular segmentations can be used to serve the most effective social proof content to different customer groups.

Boost product recommendations

Brands can pull Trustpilot star ratings into product recommendations and customize the look and feel of the ratings. Product recommendations can be filtered to meet specific business goals, for example promoting the most highly-rated products.

Testing and optimization

Brands can use A/B tests and control groups to optimize the use of ratings and reviews, and quickly measure the impact on marketing campaigns.

Quick and easy implementation

Fresh Relevance automatically pulls data from Trustpilot through a direct integration for use in website and email content.
